Giving

The University of Texas and the Department of Art and Art History receive less than 20% of its annual budget directly from the State of Texas. As we strive to keep tuition costs low, we are dedicated to providing students with a world–class education. The department and the College of Fine Arts rely on dedicated philanthropists at all levels– alumni, friends, and members of the community who value excellence in the arts. Mentoring

The Fine Arts Career Services office is proud to be one of the first career service offices dedicated exclusively to assisting fine arts majors and alumni. The Mentoring Network brings together successful professionals with departmental students to foster a unique and rewarding mentoring experience. Volunteering

The Creative Research Laboratory (CRL) is the department's premier gallery space for the exhibition of student, faculty, and alumni art. Located at 2832 East Martin Luther King, Jr., Boulevard, one mile east of the UT campus, the CRL features exhibitions, symposia, workshops, outreach programs, artist talks, and much more.
