Edward Triggs passed away in March of 1999. He was a graduate of the California College of Arts and Crafts whose professional activities over the past forty years included all aspects of graphic design and persuasive design. He had lectured on design in both London and Mexico City, and was the author of "Visual Rhetoric and Semiotics" in Communicating Design, and "Refocusing Graphic Design" in Zed.
