Entry Arbor, Visual Arts Center
The total cost of the construction is estimated to be $7 million, and the University of Texas at Austin is seeking to raise an additional $7 million in philanthropic support to create the Visual Arts Center Program Endowment. This endowment will support annual student, faculty, and alumni exhibitions, academic programs, and visiting artists for the Department of Art and Art History. These funds will help the department expand its commitment to achieving the highest level of excellence and innovation. Naming opportunities are available for individual spaces within the Visual Arts Center as well as other opportunities of programmatic and underwriting support.
"This dynamic new facility will draw students, professors, scholars and the public together to explore the visual arts within the department and beyond. Graduate students will, for the first time, have premier spaces for research and production. All four divisions (art history, design, studio art and visual arts studies/art education) will share the benefits of this facility."
