Photography Services

The Visual Resources Collection provides the following services:

Copy Photography Equipment
A photo copy stand set-up complete with 35mm SLR camera with a macro lens, two light stands and reflectors are available for faculty and students. Users supply their own film, lights, and processing. This is a self-service set up. VRC staff is not trained in giving assistance. However, for first-time users a short orientation to copy photography can be arranged with the VRC photographer.

For scheduling the use of this equipment, sign-up for a date and time in DFA 2.210, Monday through Friday, 8AM – 4PM, or call 471-4337.

You must supply:

  • 35mm film: Ektachrome or Fujichrome 64T Professional
  • appropriate lights: 2 bulbs: 3200° K Tungsten 250w
  • processing: list of local labs is available

No digital camera is available at this moment. However, the copy stand can be used with a personal digital camera or a digital camera checked out in the Fine Arts Library (DFA 3.200, 495-4480).
