Amanda Gorence provides assistance to the Director of Development for the Department of Art and Art History. Her duties include maintaining communication with the Advisory Council and assisting in organizing the biannual Advisory Council meetings, writing grant proposals to various corporations and foundations to secure funding for departmental programs, maintaining alumni and VIP databases and listservs, and assisting the Mesoamerica Center with bilingual projects. Amanda also provides daily administrative assistance for other special programs and projects in the Office of Development. Amanda graduated from the University with a B.A. in Spanish and currently collaborates with the artists of Falun Faun at Tillery Studios.
