As Academic Advisor, Ramey Guerra works with undergraduate majors and provides prospective and current students with information about degree requirements and assists them with other scholastic matters. She also responds to web, telephone, and written inquiries about the department's programs (please allow a 24 to 48 hour response time for reply email or a returned telephone message.)

Ramey graduated with a B.A. in Art History from Bryn Mawr College. She has several years of mentoring experience in Bryn Mawr College's peer counseling program and she wrote a senior thesis in Art History. Ramey lived with a host family and studied French in Bordeaux, France as part of a yearlong American Field Service program. She has an M.S. in Psychology, with a concentration of courses in counseling theory, from Angelo State University. Ramey worked as a teaching assistant and student instructor in the Psychology Department at Angelo State University before returning to her hometown of Austin.
