Jason Urban received his M.F.A. in Printmaking from the University of Iowa in 2002. Urban has taught at a number of institutions including Southern Illinois University Carbondale (Carbondale, IL), Tyler School of Art at Temple University (Philadelphia, PA), and Maryland Institute and College of Art (Baltimore, MD). His research focuses on the development of a cross-disciplinary body of prints, drawings, and installations that investigate pattern, repetition, and color using both analog and digital technologies. He has exhibited both nationally and internationally. Urban is also co-founder of printeresting.org - “since 2008, the thinking person's favorite online resource for interesting printmaking miscellany.” More information on Jason Urban and images of Urban's work can be seen on his website.
