  • Theatre and Dance Alumna Marcia Gay Harden is Commencement Speaker for The University of Texas at Austin's May Ceremony
    Tony Award-Winning Actress Addresses Spring Graduates on May 22, 2010
  • Charles Ferraro (BA, Studio Art,'03) is part of an arts collective in Austin known as GAT5. Charles' most recent show was AUSTIN BROOKLYN art exchange on October 16, 2009 with future work on display at the East Austin Studio Tour on November 14-15, 21-22, 2009.
  • Anna Krachey (MFA, Studio Art, '08), Adam Schreiber (MFA, Studio Art, '07) and Jessica Mallios (Lecturer in Dept. of Art and Art History) are exhibiting together at the Contemporary Arts Museum in Houston. An opening reception will be held on Thursday, November 5 from 6:30-9:30 pm along with a gallery walkthrough with the artists that same evening at 6:30 pm. The exhibition will be on view through February 7, 2010.
  • Jonathan Faber (MFA, Studio Art, '03) is participating in a two-person exhibition entitled, Abstractions, Al Souza and Jonathan Faber at the David Shelton Gallery in San Antonio. The opening reception is Saturday, November 7 from 6­10 pm and will be on view through Saturday, December 5.
  • Kurt Mueller (MFA, Studio Art, '08) has curated the exhibition Diamond Life, featuring new work by Jillian Conrad (Houston, TX) and Moo Kwon Han (New York, NY) on view November 20, 2009 ­ January 2, 2010. The exhibition debuts at Unit B Gallery, located in San Antonio, Texas.
  • Gregg Hillmar (MFA, Theatrical Design, 1986) is a scenic and lighting designer based in Richmond, Va. He has been a recognized and published consultant in Vectorworks software. Gregg teaches at Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, Va. and is also a member of United Scenic Artists Local 829, the union for professional theatrical designers and artists.
