FILM SCREENING OF HERE IS ALWAYS SOMEWHERE ELSE

Event Title: Film Screening of Here Is Always Somewhere Else
Event Description:

In conjunction with the CRL exhibition Tell me everything, as you remember it, join us for this screening of Here Is Always Somewhere Else: The disappearance of Bas Jan Ader.

In 1975 Ader disappeared under mysterious circumstances at sea in what would have been the smallest boat ever to cross the Atlantic. As seen through the eyes of fellow emigrant filmmaker Rene Daalder, the picture becomes a sweeping overview of contemporary art films as well as an epic saga of the transformative powers of the ocean.

A trailer for the film can be viewed at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8T5PLNrxl6Y
