University Cooperative Society Fine Arts Award

The University Co–op Fine Arts Award of $3,000 provides annual recognition for outstanding, UT Austin faculty achievement in the visual and performing arts. Excellence in the creative enterprises is measured in ways unique to these fields, and this award is intended to ensure that those who contribute to their artistic disciplines in superior ways are honored appropriately. Eligible faculty includes Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors, and Senior Lecturers whose work is in performance, design, or studio.

Three finalists will be invited to the Robert W. Hamilton Book Awards in late October 2008 and the winner will be announced at that time.
