Stephen Gerald, Death and the King's Horseman
Stephen Gerald, acting and directing professor directs Wole Soyinka's drama Death and the King's Horseman for St. Edward's Mary Moody Northern Theatre. Based on the events resulting from expectations to observe tribal laws and customs in the Yoruba city of Oyo, Nigeria, in 1946, Horseman explores honor, duty and human will.
