The Jacob K. Javits Fellowship Program has awarded Department of Art and Art History graduate student Caitlin Earley one of its prestigious fellowships. This program provides multi-year fellowships to students of superior academic ability—selected on the basis of demonstrated achievement, financial need, and exceptional promise—to undertake study at the doctoral and Master of Fine Arts level in selected fields of arts, humanities, and social sciences. Earley is pursuing a Ph.D. in the division of Art History, concentrating on the art and culture of ancient Mesoamerica.
