School of Music's Susan Jackson Recognized

2008 James W. Vick Texas Excellence Award for Academic Advising

Dr. Susan Jackson, Academic Advisor for the School of Music, has been recognized by her undergraduate students and named the recipient of the prestigious 2008 James W. Vick Texas Excellence Award for Academic Advising.

The James W. Vick Texas Excellence Award for Academic Advising seeks to promote quality advising at The University of Texas by publicly recognizing advisors who have had an effective, positive influence on the educational experience of University students. Nominations are solicited campus‐wide during the fall, and a student selection committee selects the advisors. The award will be presented with a monetary bonus.

This is the eighth time a College of Fine Arts advisor has been awarded for their outstanding work with the James W. Vick Texas Excellence Award.
