Favorite Memory of T&D:

Wow, so many… ummm…laughing hysterically in Jim Hancock's Alexander class; while not necessarily favorite, but very vivid… 9/11… brand new at UT, holding Kim Dilt's while watching the buildings come down. And then, on 9/11, Stacy Wolf's class…thank you Stacy; but really, you know, as far as favorite memories… I mainly remember lots of hugs….

Influential Professors or Classes:

This is such a hard one… all of the classes and professors I had at UT influenced me and prepared me in some form or fashion. But, if I were to list a few things that come to mind: Fran Dorn for extremely high expectations; Lucien Douglas for his excitement and sincere care for what he does and for his students… it's infectious; Barney Hammond for helping me discover my voice; Andrea Beckham for helping me understand my body; Jill Dolan and the "Teacher Training" course; Stacy Wolf for making us read a million plays!

Biography:

My husband, Judson Jones and I are Associate Directors of Alchemy Theatre Company. With Alchemy, we are involved in full productions and readings all at Theatre Row on 42nd Street. Right now, Jud and I both are acting in a reading of Umbrella, by Larry Pontius (UT MFA, Playwriting). After that, I will be participating in a reading with Redshift Productions called Phallacy, directed by Elena Araoz (UT MFA, Acting). In January, 2007, I will be working on Alchemy's production of The Vietnamization of New Jersey, by Christopher Durang. And in the fall of 2007, Alchemy will be producing and Jud and I will be acting in a gem of a play called Harvest, by David Crawford, about the Texas farmer.

Other than that, I've done several readings with several different companies. I've participated in festivals such as Manhattan Theatre Source's Estrogenius festival (a celebration of women's voices), and the NYC International Fringe Festival. I've acted in a new play called, The Information She Carried; and I was an android in the sci-fi thriller feature film called Bloodmask.

And finally, I am a member of the acting company of NYU's First Look Theatre Company headed up by Gary Garrison. The company works with the graduate playwriting and screenwriting students on realizing their work.
