Any currently enrolled UT student may audition for the Department of Theatre and Dance mainstage productions.

Non-majors are allowed to audition for Departmental productions; however, casting preference will be given to Theatre and Dance Majors. If a non-major is cast in a production, that person will need to register for the appropriate performance course number.

Auditions for mainstage productions typically take place in the middle of the semester before the production is to be produced. For example, auditions for all shows scheduled for the Spring 2009 will take place in October 2008.

If you have any questions about general audtions, please contact the Department's Producing Director, Denise Martel, at denise.martel@mail.utexas.edu.
