Theatre and Dance Specific Information:
The Department of Theatre and Dance admits students in the Fall semester only.
Admission to the graduate programs of the UT Department of Theatre and Dance is highly competitive and selective. Applicants must first meet the general admission requirements of the Graduate School. The M.F.A. programs in Acting, Dance, Design (all areas) and Technology (all areas) do not require the GRE Exam.
Beyond the general requirements of the Graduate School, the Department of Theatre and Dance has specific application requirements and deadlines for each concentration. Please click on your area of interest to find out more information.
