Theatre/Dance Specific Information:

If you are, or soon will be, a high school graduate with no previous college attendance, apply as an entering freshman. You can apply as an entering freshman if you have taken college courses while still in high school, but if you graduated from high school and took any college coursework afterward, you should apply as a transfer student.

In determining admissibility, the Department of Theatre and Dance Admissions Committee reviews a student's high school rank, SAT and/or ACT scores and application essays. There is no portfolio review or audition for any student applying to the B.A. in Theatre and Dance or the B.F.A. in Theatre Studies.

In addition to departmental admission requirements, students applying to the B.F.A. in Dance are required to participate in an audition and submit letters of recommendation.
