Theatre and Dance Specific Information:

If you are currently attending UT as an undergraduate and hope to change your major to Theatre or Dance, you must apply directly to the Department.

Internal Transfer applications are available online and in the Winship Drama Building Main Office (WIN 1.142) during the open application period of January 15 - March 1 each academic year. The Department of Theatre and Dance requires internal transfer applicants to submit a statement of intent, a resumé, and a letter of recommendation along with the Application for Change of Major. Applications must be submitted no later than 5 PM on the March 1 deadline. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Note: UT regulation prevents students with 60+ hours from transferring internally. See the General Information Catalog, page 48 for more information.
