Overview

The Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and Dance allows students to explore multiple disciplines within the department, in addition to providing a solid general education. Students may focus on any of the following: acting, directing, dance, choreography, performance as public practice, playwriting, design, theatre technology, or creative drama. The elective hours included in this degree make it appropriate for students who have an interest outside of the department, such as music, pre-med, UT's Plan II Honors Progam, etc. Admission is based on academic records, an application essay, and for transfers, a resume.
