Professor Abraham earned an M.F.A. at the California Institute of the Arts. He has acted and directed at the Loeb Experimental Theatre in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and played the role of Lucky in the UT Production of Waiting For Godot with Barrie Ingham of the Royal Shakespeare Company. He has also directed many productions for the Department, including Awake And Sing!, Very Good Eddie, The Women, Old World, Twice Around The Park, Top Girls, Design For Living and Measure For Measure. He has been a guest director at the University of Minnesota and is currently writing a book on comedy acting, as well as investigating the use of computers to aid actors in analyzing text and sharpening their perceptions of performance.
