Cassie Gholston joined the UT Department of Theatre and Dance in 2002 and currently serves as Assistant Chair for External Relations. She coordinates special events and outreach programs, including summer youth programs, alumni activities and guest artist/production-related receptions. She consults with faculty on fundraising initiatives and the development of grant proposals. Cassie works as the liaison with Department of Theatre and Dance Advisory Council members, donors, and various charitable organizations. In addition, she oversees department advertising and publicity, including marketing of the production season.
Cassie holds an MFA in Studio Art from the University of New Mexico and teaches part-time for Austin Community College.
