The Department of Theatre and Dance comprises 350 undergraduate and 100 graduate students, a largely tenure-track faculty of 40, 10 full-time staff, and offers a range of baccalaureate, master's, and doctoral degrees in Theatre and Dance. It is housed in well- equipped facilities, which include a black box, proscenium, and lab theatre, teaching and practice spaces, and state-of-the-art design and computing labs. The Department is one of five programmatically integrated units of the College of Fine Arts, including also Art and Art History, Music, the Blanton Museum of Art, and the Performing Arts Center, which provides the production facility and much of the staff for departmental productions. The College comprises 2,000 students, nearly 200 faculty members, and as many staff members, and teaches courses in Fine Arts to virtually every undergraduate in the University.
