Jeremy Lee Cudd

Jeremy started in the theatre as a musician, playing drums/percussion for musical productions in the city of Atlanta and then started acting in 1995. Jeremy graduated from Georgia State University with a B.A. in English Literature and a Theatre minor.

Jeremy worked as an actor and teacher in the Atlanta area for six years with companies like the Alliance Theatre, Actors Express, ART Station, Georgia Shakespeare Festival, and Soul-stice Repertory Ensemble. He was also artistic associate with Soul-stice Rep and spent a couple years as their Director of Education and a dramaturg. Jeremy graduated in 2007 with his Master of Fine Arts degree. The focus of his actor training at PSU was Meisner-based Practical Aesthetics under the guidance of master acting teacher Jim Wise. He also studied Voice and Shakespeare in London, England; Film and Television Acting in Toronto, Ontario with David Rotenberg at the Professional Actors Lab; and Directing with Joseph Ziegler at Soulpepper Theatre, also in Toronto.

Jeremy has been teaching for over nine years in a variety of forums: university courses, professional studios, theatre camps, theatre outreach with at-risk youth in Chicago public schools, touring workshops, and private coaching.

Jeremy recently relocated to Austin, TX from Chicago, where he worked regionally as an actor and teacher at Actors Theatre of Louisville, American Theatre Co., Profiles Theatre, City Lit Theatre, Act One Studios and Notre Dame University. Jeremy is director/writer/editor of Plenty Humble Productions' web serial, Diary of a Job Seeker. Jeremy teaches undergraduate acting at the University of Texas at Austin.
