ROBIN LEWIS (Musical Theater Dance) - Recently returned from Oklahoma where he choreographed Evita for the Lyric. His most recent work in Austin includes co-producing of TexARTS' Carousel with Patrick Cassidy at the Paramount, in addition to having choreographed ZACH's Jesus Christ Superstar. Other TexARTS credits include Big River as well as The Music Man, both at the Paramount. Other credits include Urinetown, The Musical, (Critic's Table Award) Plaid Tidings and Rocky Horror and he looks forward to choreographing Damn Yankees and Chicago this winter. For Zilker he choreographed Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (Payne as well as Critic's Table Award). Footloose(SSA), West Side Story(SSA). He is a 12-year Broadway veteran (Fosse, Dance Captain of Beauty & the Beast, Victor Victoria and Dance Captain of A Christmas Carol at Madison Square Gardens as well as the first national tour of The Producers. He has performed alongside the likes of Jason Alexander, Martin Short, Ben Vereen, Andrea McCardle, Tony Randall, Tim Curry, Ann Reinking, Bebe Newirth, Roger Daltry, Michele Lee, and several others on Broadway and in national touring productions including A Chorus Line, Hello Dolly, Beauty and the Beast, (L.A. Company) as well as on the Tony Awards, at Carnegie Hall, City Center and Washington's The Kennedy Center. He was also the Dance Captain for the off-Broadway Musical for Manhatten Theatre Project's The Green Heart written by Charles Busch. Robin teaches master classes in dance all across the nation, including Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, Oklahoma University and others as well as in teaching exchanges through TexARTS' Musical Theater Academy (which he Co-Founded & is Artistic Director) for Camp Broadway, Broadway Classroom, and Bravo Channel's On With the Show. Prior to his first on-stage work in Las Vegas and for Royal Caribbean, Robin was a nationally competitive figure skater. He is the co-founder of TexARTS Association, producer of various Broadwy musicals at the Paramount as well as parent company of the Musical Theater Academy of Lakeway and Austin.
