Way of the World  Light Plan (pdf - download adobe reader)
Credit: Light Plot by Paul Hancock

What's a light plot? A light plot is the entire package of instructions for hanging and focusing the lighting for a show. A light plan is the most important component of the light plot and is the top view of the stage, showing the stage house, the scenery and masking, the hanging positions for electrics, and the location of the lighting instruments. The light plan typically shows the type, unit number, color, dimmer or control channel, and ancillary attachments for each instrument.
