Summer Youth Programs

The Department hosts residential dance and theatre summer programs from June through the beginning of August.

The American Ballet Theatre Summer Intensive and US Performing Arts Camp are well established programs for middle school and high school aged students in ballet and theatre, respectively.

The Second Youth Summer Theatre Academy is a day camp for elementary and middle school students in the Austin area.

Outreach and Community Engagement

Our Drama and Theatre for Youth faculty and students design and propel the Department's outreach activities.

Discover Imagine Safer Schools and the strategies we use in Victoria, Texas to help the community prevent gang violence through dramatic learning.
